Passing Of Year

Not Regretted By Council Chairman

"I do not think any of us will re- gret the passing of 1030," said Mr. R. R. Todd, Chairman of the Urban Council, yesterday, at the last meet- ing for the year.

Only routine business was con- ducted, and the Chairman concluded with a summary. He said:

As this is the last meeting during 1938, I wish to thank all members for their co-operation. On behalf of the Council I thank the Secretary, Mr. Watson, and the Assistant Secre tary, Mc. Im, for their good work. Mr. Watson has just been transferred to the Colonial Secretariat, but wo welcome back an old colleague.in Mr. Roc.
