IN HONGKONG STERNLY WARNED
Corroboration of the Hongkong Telegraph's report that milk had been coming into the Colony from Macao and Canton was given by the Chairman at yesterday's meeting of the Urban Council. He added that severe warnings had been sent to the offending importers.
The Chairman gave Government's answers to questions on the refugee camps and on the segregation of cholera suspects.

Dr. Selwyn-Clarke; not like members of the Council to think because rather terse answer has been given to this question, that the medical authorities are not in- terested in it or grateful for the interest taken by members in the mensutea for protection and care of these cases. I should like to expand the second answer by saying that Government has under con- sideration the construction of a new Infectious Discuses Hospital in Kow- loon and for the time being they have provided funds for the altern- tion of the old part of the prison at Latchkok, chiefly for cholera cases.
