Chiang Kai-shek's Punishment
Hankow, Mar. 10. Gendarmerie authorities in- formed the United Press to-day that 600 Government officials, in accordance with Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek's strict war- time orders, have been arrested during the past fortnight.
Their offence is said to be gambling, dancing and paying too much attention to girls.
Each official has been held for three days and made to help build roads and to repair damage to aerodromes.-United Press.
