Hankow, Feb. 22. The Chinese blew up the, Yellow River bridge north of suchow yes- terday. There is fighting on the Fei- ping-Hankow railway front and also In Shansi, which is at present hotter thon on the Tientsin-Pukow railway sector.
The Japanese have reached Hut hsien 50 miles north of Chengchow. A foreign military observer is of the opinion that the most correct Japanese strategy will be a main drive along the Peiping-Hankow rail- way as a stepping stone to the heart of Chinese resistance at Hankow.
