X'mas Incident Comes To Light When Further Instances Reported

Shanghai, Jan. 7.
Four British police officers, attached to the International Settlement force, have been beaten' by Japanese servicemen during the past few days. These ugly incidents, in which defiance of Shanghai law has been shown by the Japanese in occupation, have only just been disclosed following the repetition of acts of violence.
