'ACCIDENTS
One person killed and 15 in- jured is the Colony's penalty for modern speed for the week ending 8 a.m. on Saturday.. There were altogether 42 traffic accidents.
The person killed, a Chinese male, aged 24 years, died as the result of injuries received while alighting from a motor bus whilst in motion.

Of the persons injured, nine were pedestrians, who were either walking or running across the road and were struck by vehicles,
Three tramcar passengers and two bus passengers were injured while alighting from moving tramcars and busea
respectively.
