On Saturday last the conditions were perfectly appalling for cricket as there was a cold wind and a nasty drizzle most of the time. The Club side, as it so often is after New Year, secmed to be a very make-shift one in its non-League game against the 1.R.C. It seems surprising that the premier, club in the Colony is unable to keep together a regular first team though I think that to some extent the trouble is, as in other clubs, a second team is playing in the second division.
