Mr. Julian Trippe, President of Pan-American Airways, has just completed an unprecedented round- the-world business trip entirely by nir. He announced that experimental fights across the Atlantic would “commence in the spring.
Mr. Trippe stated that the Pan- American, Imperial Airways, the Air do France and the Lufthansa com- panies will carry out their experi mental fights separately.
It was further announced by Mr. Trippe that Pan-American Airways will extend their service to Macao and, Hongkong early in 1937. -
