IN DIVORCE
ANITA ELSON AND ROSEMARY AMES
Two noted actresses were principals in suits decided by Mr. Justice Bucknil in the London Divorce Court lust month. Miss Anità Elson wOR A petitioner and Miss Rosemary Ames a respondent,
Mr. Hannah Prinsep, of Chester- field House, Mayfair, W. (Misa Anita Elson, the musical comedy actress) sought divorce from her husband, Mr. Nicholas Jolin Andrew Leyland Prinsep, on the ground of his adultery ot a West End hotel. The suit was undefended.
Mr. and Mrs. Prinsep were married fit SL George'a register office, Hanover quare, on January 7, 1930, and lived at Farm-street, Berkeley- | Aquare, and other places. There are no children of the marriage.
Mrs. Prinsep's case was that her husband bad grown "indifferent" before she left for an American visit last May.
On her return, after five weeks, he said he thought she would have stayed longer. He told her he did not think they could live together again. She then went to Cannes, and when the came back to Farm-street sho found that the house had been let.

After hearing evidence, Mr. Justice Bucknif granted Mrs. Prinsep gree nisl, with costs against her hus band.
A decros nisl was granted to Mr. Robert Alexander Meyer. of Eston- wow, S.W., for divorce from his wife, whose stage and film name is Rose- mary Ames, on the ground of her adultery by living in Chicago, USA, with the co-respondent, Mr. Aber James Stillwell. Costa were giren against Mr. Stillwell.
Mr. and Mrs. Meyer were married at St. Martin's register office, London, There are no children.
Mr. Meyer's case was that in May, 1934, his wife went to America,
In March, 1935, he received printed notice that she had obtained a decree for divorce in Chicago on the ground of desertion, and a certificate of her marriage to Mr. Stillwell on the same day as the decree.
Evidence was given by Mr. Meyer, and from Chiengo by affidavit.
