"David Copperfield" Roles Allotted
LAWTON IN TITLE
Three of the most important parts in "David Copperfield," which Is to be produced as a talking pic- ture at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios in Hollywood, will be played by Jean Cadell, Frank Lawton, and Lionel Barrymore.
Jean Cadell is to play the part of Mrs. Micawber. This will be the first occasion on which Mige Cadoll has visited Hollywood, although sho has twice played on the stage in Now York. It was in New York that Mr. David Selznick, the producer of "David Copperfield," BGW Miss Cadell in "At Mra Beam's."
Frank Lawton has been in Holly. wood playing a leading part in the "One More Galsworthy story, River, under the direction of Mr. James Whala.
Frank Lawton had intended ro- turning to London, but has stayed on in Hollywood to play the part of David Copperfield.
