Two lawn bowls championship matches were play- ed off last week on the greens of Shanghai Lawn Bowls Club before a keen audience. The Country Club heavily defeated the Junior Golf Club by 32 to Il shots for the Rinks Championship in a game that was a fore- gone conclusion to all followers of Lawn Bowls.

The other match, for the Singles championship of Shanghai, was won by C. M. Sequeira of the Hongkew Golf Club, winner of the 1931 singles championship and runner-up last year,
