The following Rules will govern the Competition;— -The Competition is confined exclusively to

amateur photographers.

2-The Prizes will awarded to the competitors sending in what are adjudged to be the best photographs in each Section. Each entry must. be accompanied by the form below.

3.-The right to publish any or all of the entries

in the Tolograph is reserved.

4-Photograph which have been already entered

in local competitions are ineligible. 6.At the conclusion of the Competition, entries will be returned to competitors on application at this Offico within seven days.

7-Photographs which must not be less than 24" x 34" (excepting in the Chlidren's Section) should be printed in black and white, with the entry form lightly pasted on the back.

MR 10 CHEUNG SHU PASSES AWAY

One of the most distinguished men of commerce In Hongkong, and one who has been for many years associated with progressivo works in the Colony, Mr. Lo Cheung-ahlu died at 12.30 o'clock Inst night after a lengthy filness.

Although he retired 48 com. pradore of Messrs. Jardine, Matheson, Ltd., in 1920, having: served with that organisation for many years. Mr. Lo had been most, active ever since. He was only 67 years of age when la died.

He was one of; the oldest of the Justices of the Peace In the Colony and was the recipient of a Certificate of Honour on His Majesty's birthday in 1930.

He was chairman of the Tung Wah Hospital in 1915, and has boon a member of the Permanent Advisory Board ever, since. Ho was also a member of tha. Dis- trict Watch Committee, a mem bor of the Permanent Board of the Po Leung Kuk, vice-Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Executivo Committee for many years..

Mr. Lo, too, was a director of the Ching Light and Power_and the Hongkong Construction Com- panics.

He is survived by four sons, Mesara. M. K.`Lo, M. W. Lo, M. H: Lo and Horace Lo, all' well- known In Hongkong; and five! daughters, Mrs. Ho Loung, Mrs. Ho KI, Mrs. Chou, Mrs. John Litton and Mrs. K. W. Chaan.
