LANCASHIRE LOSE 100 PER CENT RECORD

DERBY GIVE KENT A SHOCK PHENOMENAL scoring featured the first class cricket programme during the last three days, several-matches producing well over 100 runs apiece.

As a result the honours list is full of batting achievements, In- luding two double centuries and nine other three figure innings.

Lancashire tunt their 100 per cent record, being forced to rest content with first innings points against Warwick after compiling the huge score of 485 for 8 declar- ed.

The outstanding feature of this innings was Iddon's splendid bat- ting which produced him 201 rune. He remained undefeated unt!! the close of the Innings.

Warwick, however, cnally held their own against this imposing total, and in scoring 314 and 177 for 3 were never in danger of out- right dofcat.

DARLING'S BATTING.

C. F. Walter's record of making the highest score of the season, achieved only last week, fell be- fore Barling's magnificent innings against Hampshire.
