MANY TEAMS SIX MATCHES IN ARREARS FORTNIGHT BEFORE SEASON ENDS
(By "VERITAS”.)
AFTER a month of, spasmodic interruptions, league
football continues the even tenor of its way to- morrow, marking the beginning of the end of the 1932-33 season.
The majority of clubs return to the fray, a full programme being scheduled for the senior division, while additional matches have been introduced in the second and third divisions.
South China resume their trek towards the first division champ- ionship, but they have still a long way to go, and as it would scom that A number of mid-week matchen will be their lot, a few upsets before the lasue is finally elinched need not be unexpected.
SURPRISE MAY AWAIT.
St. Joseph'a provide the opposi- tion for the potential title holders on Sunday, and it appears a fairly safe thing for the Chinese. Neverthelous one must not ignore that the Sainte last week literally played with tho Recreló, who had proviously beaten South Chinn, and a reproduction of that form

THIS FIXTURE MUDDLE. Incidentally the fact that the Artillery have played so many more games than the majority of the teams in the first division prompts one to onquire as to what steps the League management committee are going to take to ensure the whole programme ba ing carried out.
According to the fixture hand- book, matches in the senior di- viaion came to a close on Sunday April 00. If this date is to be ad- hered to one wondere how teams such as South China, the Athletic, St. Joseph's and the Police, who have played 13 and 14 matches, and in the ease of the Athletic, even loss, are going to complete their programmes.

-BIG-SUCCESS-
Water polo has come into its own again at the Y.M.C.A.
Last night the Association's bath was the scene of tremendous activity, when the first practice tame of the 1933 season was held with encouraging results.
"Paper" teams, are RO often prone to disappoint when they tako the water, but yesterday the Y.M.C.A. players if anything, ex-; ceeded expectations, and this, the Initial display of the summer, was an outstanding success.
Whites engaged Bluss, the form- er winning a high scoring match by 0 goals to 3.
SCHREUDER'S SIX.
J. Schreuder excelled himself as a marksman, scoring all six for the winning team, whilst Dom, Jenkins and Sutherland replied for the Blues.
The following sides were lined up by E. W. Railton, the referee.
