FORMER HOSPITAL.
ULTRA MODERN FLATS PLANNED
Work is in progress for the con- version of the old Peak Hospital into an apartment house. The original building has had a great history, as it was handed over many years ago to the Government for use as a hospital until such time as It was possible to build a new one. On the completion of the War Memorial Nursing Home some months ago the patients were trans- ferred to the new building, and the former hospital returned to its owners the Joseph Estate.
It has been empty for some time, but it has now been decided to put it to practical use in the form of an up-to-date apartment building There will be four apartments in all, three of which have already Бесп booked. They will bo equipped with every modern con- venience, and from their location should prove an acceptable addition to Peak residences
Mr. A. G. Hewitt is the architect.

It is this question with which I wish to deal in this article, Is the Bible inspired in the same way, as wo say Shakespeare or Tennyson were inspired? Or is the inspiration of the Bible unique? If so, in what way is it unique? This is one of the most difficult questions in theology and so it is necessary to be very careful in the words one uses when speaking about it.

That the written word, like the Incarnate Word, was faultless, but, as it passed through the hands of men there have been mistranslations and misunderstandings, just as there have been misconceptions of the
