(By "Varitas").

The Interport selection cóm-{ mittee have very wisely again refused to allow the grass to grow under their feet, and inj spite of the fact that according' to the official handbook only one Interport Trial has been provided for, they have decided to begin their preparations for January 26 on Thursday next, when the first Trial will be held on the Club ground.

For this the selectors have chosen what looks like being the Onest defence possible for Hong- kong to put in the field,

Allen of the Artillery has been brought in at right back to partner B.
