O.A.G.'S FLIGHT

MR. AND MRS. SOUTHORN SEE COLONY FROM AIR

An inspection was made at the civil aerodrome at Kal Tak yester- day afternoon by His Excellency the Oficer Administering the Gov- crnment, the Hon. Mr. W. T. Southern, C.M.G., who was accom- panied by Mrs. Southorn and his A. D. C..

After the inspection Mr. A. V. Harvey took one of the 'planes, an AW16, aluft, and high above the nerodrome, did a series of "stunts."

Later, His Excellency and Mrs. Southorn, at the invitation of Mr. Harvey, were taken for a flight over the city and the surround- ing country in the Cutty Sark amphibian,

Both the Hon. Mr. and Mrs. Southern, on their return to the aerodrome, expressed themselves as delighted with their experience. It in understood that this is the first occasion that either the 0.A.G. or Mrs. Southorn have flown in an aeroplane.
