Winnipeg, Sept. 13. The sensational revelations of huge losses sustained by univer- sity and religious trust funds in Manitoba and Rupert's Land, fol- lowed by the arrest of Mr. John Machray, bighly-respected law- yer and official, are to become the subject of an enquiry by a Royal Commission.
The announcement was made to- day by Mr. Bracken, the Provincial Prime Minister, who said that the Royal Commission is now in pro- cess of formation.
