this institution have appealed the Government for permission to use the vast plece of land in Aber- deen formerly occupied by the Tal Shing Paper Factory which was purchased by the Government sometime ago In connexion with the Aberdeen development of the new Iteservoir.
It is believed that the develop- ment of the Reservoir does not re- quire all the innd on the site and the founders hope the Government will set aside some 12,000 square feet thereun for the Inuilding of new premises and dormitories for the new industrial school.

The founders of this school have consulted the well known Grm of architects, Messrs. Hazeland and Gonella, in connexion with the con- straction of the school buildings, and it is estimated that the con- struction work alone will require about $200,000.
As soon as the Government's consent is obtained the firm will be asked to prepare the plans, and construction work will be com- menced immediately. The founders hope to secure $500,000 in dona- tions for the construction and endowment of this school.
DEATH AT END OF HONEYMOON.
SOCIETY BRIDE.
The death of Mrs. Pamela Wen- berger, whose marriage, at Holy Trinity Church, Brompton, only a few weeks ago was a big social event, was announced on Feb. 24. She was 26.
Mra. Weinberger was a daugh- ter of the late Admiral Sir Arthur Leveson and of Lady Leveson. She and her husband, Mr. Walter Martin Weinberger, returned to London in the previous week front Madeira, where the honeymoon was spent.
They stayed at an hotel in the West End while Mrs. Weinberger inspected flats and furniture.
On the Friday Mrs. Weinberger visited her mother at Bosilman- sions, Knightsbridge, but later that day was taken suddenly ill at her hotel.
A form of blood polsoning was diagnosed. Mrs. Weinbergor died on the Tuesday,
