Cable Transport.
All the materials for the con- struction of this dam were trans- ported from a depot in Aberdeen village by means of a cable way 1,200 yards long. Alongside this depot was the blockyard where all the dam-facing blocks were cast and matured. The diam contains upprox. 26,400 cuh. yıla, of cement concrete and 16,000 concrete blocks were used for all purposes.
