Soon after eight o'clock yesterday morning, carrying only a few pas sengers, the Siberia Maru left Hong- kong harbour for what will probably bo the last time, after an association with the port for nearly thirty years, Consequent on the advent of auch palatial modern liners as the Tatsuta Maru,

TRIAL RUN OF THE YASUKUNI MARU.
According to information received in Hongkong, the new N.YK, motor- ship Yasukuni Maru showed very satisfactory results run off Nagasaki recently. Her aver- upon her trial age speed was 18 knots per hour and her maximum speed 18% knots per hour, showing that she is able to maintain a high and consistent speed.
