TEN PER CENT. REDUCTION IN WAGES.
London, Apr. 8. Following the report of the official Court of Enquiry into the wool industry stating that a re- duction of wages was imperative. Yorkshire employers posted notices announcing a reduction of! approximately ten per cent. The Trade Unions offered to accept half of this, but the employers are adamant, hence a general stop- page is apparently inevitable over the week-end.—Reuter.
