The wreckage of a school bus in which the driver and ten children met their deaths as the result of a collision with a train at an unprotected crossing. The train was a New York express, and the body of the bus was torn completely away. It is believed that rain on the windshield prevented the driver from seeing the oncoming train. The accident occurred. about fifteen miles from Cleveland.

The wrockage of a huge air-liner which crashed near San Clemente, California, recently, sixteen persons losing their lives. The plane became a blazing inferno and not one of the accupants escaned, the disaster being the worst in the history of American aviation. Colonel Charles Lindbergh, in the capecity of vice-president of the Air Line is personally conducting an investigation.

The White House executive offices, ravaged by fire, are being repaired in speedy fashion. Picture shows the building as construction of the new roof was begun. The work will cost almost $160,000 and the builders have been offered a house for every day off the contract schedule.
Palm Beach was recently the scene of an air tragedy in which three men were killed and two badly injured. A Florida Airways monoplane went into a nosa dive at an altitudo of 300 feet and plunged into Lake Worth. Picture shows the wreckage of the craft after it
