Mr. J. Thomas, Lord Privy Seal, has admitted. bis. mistake In attributing certain statements on the subject of unemployment to Mr. Baldwin during a debate in the House of Commons on Friday,
December 20.
In his speech Mr. Thomas "as- sorted that a statement regard- ing promises to the unemployed was taken from Mr. Baldwin's cloction address in 1924.
