CLOWN GUESTS AT A FREAK DINNER.

TABLE IN FORM OF A CIRCUS RING.

London, Dec. 19. One of the most remarkable freak dinners ever given in the West-end attracted a "great a gregation of clowns" to the house of Mr. Charles Stone, at 17, Lown- des-street, S.W.I., on Tuesday night.

The clowns were the guests of Mr. Stone at his freak dinner, which is an annual event.

The table at which they sat was made in the form of a cir cus ring; the ceiling was hidden by a tent top, and the courses were announced by a ring-mas-

ter..

Admission to the dining-room was through a turnstile, and the hall and reception" roums "were covered with circus posters.
