THREATENED WITH PRISON FOR CONTRADICTORY EVIDENCE.

Contradictory evidence by n Chinese woman caused Mr. E. W Hamilton, the Central Police Court magistrate, severely to admonish her yesterday, when he said that If she did not tell him the truth, he would send her to prison.
