WATER POLO LEAGUE,
TWO DRAWN MATCHES LAST EVENING.
Both the matches in the water polo league played yesterday evening at the V.R.C. bath were drawn, the scores being a good indication of tho run of the play."
The first match of the evening, ba tween the Navy and K.O.S.B. "B," was characterised by clean tackles throughout and although play never roached a high standard, some ex- citing moments were seen. When tho final whistle blew both sides had fail ed to score.
The other match, Chinese "g" against K.OS.B. "A" was inclined to де всгарру. The Chinese did not have their full team but still wore the faster side. There was much #ducking," and frequent fouls,
S. H. Wong scored two goals be fore the interval for the Chinese. About 20 seconds after the resump- tioin, Findlayson reduced the lead by a neat shot which the Chinese cus todian failed to reach. Playing with renewed energy, the soldiers held their own, and when the final whistle blew, the score stood at 3-3, Faulkner and Ferguson being responsible for the other two goals for the Borderers, and Leung Shiu-man scoring for the Chinese.

TENNIS CONTEST.
BRILLIANT PLAY AT NORTH
POINT STADIUM,
In the semi-final of ths tennis Paint tournament. at the North stadium, yesterday, Lim Bong So beat S. A. Rumjahn.: 8-10, 6-1, 6-2. G-0.
The game was an extremely fast ane, and the players appeared to be evenly matched. As the sets pro- gressed, however, it could be seen that
was the superior of the two in speed, and it was mainly this factor which was responsible for his victory. Some of Bumjan's shots were little short of brilliant, particularly those made from the net, a position where this young player seems most at home.
Lim's speed is amazing, particular- ly in view of the fact that he does not appear to be greatly affected by the pace at which he moves after the ball. His display yesterday was a delight ful one, and was much appreciated by the spectators.
A further stage in the tournament will be reached this afternoon, when M. W. Lo meets T. Honda, at 4.15 p.m.
