The two matches played in the Water Polo League at the V, R. C. yesterday evening were both very evenly contested, the margins of Victory being small in each ease. Tho V. R. C. "A" took full points from the K. O. S. R.. "A" by two goals, while the Navy gained the decision ver the Chinese "A" by the ot goal in three.

The K. O. S. B. players did well to hold the champions of the Lengue, ta two goals. Their defence was only penetrated once in each half 'which shows that the goal keeper and the hacks played a sterling game against the fast and clever forwards of the opparition.

Gittins opened the scoring after play had been in progress for somò time but there was no further acoring antil after the first half. The soldiers resumed the game with added vigour but after defending bravely for some time Pereira found the net for the V. R. C. The find whistle went shortly afterwards.

Chinese "A" y Navy.

The Navy had slightly the better of the match with the Chinese "A," who lost by the odd goal in three. There was not as much science in the second game as in the first but the match was thrilling throughout, The Navy scored through Sullivan while. one of the Chinese players was oft of the bath adjusting his costume, hit shortly after the interval the Chinese equalised through Wong Ching.

Sullivan added the winning goal for the sailors, who managed to keep the Chinese out until the final whistle.
