Model Packard of 1901 Consumed.
BUILT 28 YEARS AGO.
Among the cars dentroyed in the fire which wiped out the Los An- geles Automobile Show was a 1901 Packard. The old car, which was among the first produced by J. W. and W, D. Packard in the original Packard factory at Warren, Ohio, formed a part of the display of Earlo C. Anthony, California Pac- kard distributor.
Anthony had obtained the ear from the Packard factory, where for several years it had reposed alongside

The Anthony dia play included some 14 modern Packard Elghts and a 1907 Pax- kard roadster which had long been well-known vehicle in Los Angeles, These also were destroyed in the fire.
