Over 100 persons- patients, doctors and mursos perished by fire, explosion of poisonous gases in the devastation of the famous Crilo Clinic in Cleveland, recently. Medical treatment was administered to many of the injured on the lawn of the burning hospital. In the above telephoto are soon physicians and volun oor workers aiding patients at the foot of high ladders. Police reserves held in check huge crowds while firemen, donning gas maske, ontored the burning building in quest of additional survivors.
Buffers Bogge, a steam- fitter, was at work in the Tatement store room of Cleveland Clinte when 'the fre started. Several explo slons followed causing the 'doath of 122 persons. Boggs, above, had been sent into the basament to fix a leaking steam pipe. He found the pipe too hot to work on' and want to ask the engineer to shut off the steam.
