"TENSILE” TIES last longer. "TENSILE" TIES retain their shape "TENSILE" TIES are good to look. at and good to wear.
It is a far cry from the heavy old-fashioned Stocks of early Victorian days to the shapely and slender open end tie of the present-day.
The firm which fo-day makes the "TENSILE" Tie also made the old-fashioned Stocks 95 years ago. Since that time they have ever led the way with the new developments in Tie construction.
In these days when the rogue is for the small tightly tied knut, the necktie roust be able to with- stand the hard wear it receives,
The TENSILE" Tie is entirely made by hand. The "clasticity"--which is its chief merit-can only be satisfactorily produced by hand work,
The cutting must be exactly right and the correct tension of the tie must be tested by, the maker before the material and laing are sewn together.
The result is the Ideal Tie which can be worn with any style of collar and which can be relied upon to give perfect service.

The Combined League were not it full strength on Saturday against the University on account of the Hongkong C.C. members' match, but the side which travell- ed to Pokfulam was strong enough to defeat the home team by a handsome margin.
The players were outstanding in an eleven which was made up of the best talents from the other clubs affiliated to the Senler League, with the exception of the Navy and the Royal Artillery from when there were no selections.
