The Ferrarin and Prele mileage also exceeds the long-distance re- cord of 3,911 miles made by the United States airmen Chamberlin and Levine in their Trans-atlantic flight.

I learn that the Ferrarin and del Proto flight not only aimed to beat records but was in the nature of non-stop severe try-out for a Trane-altantic flight from Romo to Buenos Aires, an attempt which these aviators will make in a few weeks' time.
They will use the same machine, an S. 04, of motor. The present motor a Fiat A 22, twelve- |cylinder, 550 horse-power.
