DEATH OF MR. HERBERT STEPHENS,
A very well-known and highly- respected former resident of the Colony has passed away at Home in the person of Mr. Herbert Stephens. News of his decease- has just been received by his daughter, Mrs. Sara, the wife of Mr. Colin Sara, of the Public Works Department, to whom, ag well as the widow, the sympathy of their many friends hero will be extended in their bereavement,
The late Mr. Stephena left the Colony on retirement in the year 1923. He was not then in the best of health and the last couple of years he gradually grew and passed away at his home at Harborne, Birmingham, at the age. of 69. Mrs. Stephens was with him until the end, we
