The Senior Division fixtures are very much behind time. The mili- tary teams, due to the exigencies of duty in these troublous days, have not made much headway. The Borderers, the Engineers and the Gunners have only played two three and four matches respective- ly. One or two of the civilian teams will also have to make a move and play off their postponed matches either on Sundays or week days. The Race Week, which also comes to mind, can be utilised very profitably (in the monetary sense of the word), on the cricket field. The Second Division season is well -on its way to completion.

It is not likely that the Bor- derers will be able to produce any- thing like their best form, after their long absence in camp, and I expect Civil Service will have a fairly easy match, The Royal Engineers will find it extremely hard to register their first point against the Hongkong C.G.. XL The Chinese will be up against the Strong Navy side and will probably have to add another defeat to their list.
The Second Division match he tween Kowloon and Club de Re- creio should be a good game. The Recreio X have lost none of their keeneas, although they have lost their chances for first place, but the Kowloon seconds have shown their mettle in several hard games recently, and may run their op- ponents very close. I think, how- ever, that the Portuguese side will 'just about manage to win.
