RACES FIXED.
Although the conditions yester- day were not quite favourable for swimming, the aport provided at the third day of the V. RC annual aquatic meeting was by ne means of a lower standard than that of the previous days. The racing was just as keen, and in the breast stroke event the narrowest possible margin of one fifth of n second parated the winner from the second man home.
Lyon repeated his success over May of the previous day, winning, by ten seconds, the 220 yards' championship of the Colony, after taking the load from the first fifty yards.
