Convent.
Princess Dmitri Golitzino, formely Francos, Stavens of Now York, is going to settle in England, where she will race her string of 22, horses, including the star stoeple- chasor, Sunshine. The princess is shown with two of hor thoroughbreda, Sunshine on the right.
There was a large gathering of parents and friends, as well as various Consuls, at the Convent on Rue Montauban Shanghai, the other day, when the school children gave a delightful entertainment in aid of the Baby Home (St. Monica's Crecho). The progamme comprised recitative and musical items and a sacred operette, "Sants Cecilia," Patron of Musicians. Here are all the performers gathered on the stage for the finale, when they came in for well-deserved applause,
Race Club Stewards at Luncheon.
Ozark Smile Girl.
Stewards of the Shangbai Race Club, together with owners, jockeys, race ¿fficials and their guests, held their customary tiff on the last day of the Spring Meeting. This picture was taken during the tiffin at the Club. Mr. A. W. Burkill, Chairman of the Stewards, is sented in the middle of the top table with other Stewards and guests. On Mr. Burkill's right is Mr. Chu Pao-san, the well-known Chinese merchant who has always shown a keen interest in racing in Shanghai.

A committee of advertising men, editors and angravers solected Susanne Bruff, 17, of Joplin, Mo, as the official Ozark Smile Girl. She was chosen from 65 contestante, representing 45 towns in the Ozark Playground Association,
Ambassador.
