PROSPECTUS.
(a) This Company has been formed principally for the purpo#0 of building houses in the Colony of Hongkong with a view to meeting the great demand for housing accommodation which exists in the Colony at the present tame.
(6) In particular it is proposed to take advantage of the offer re cently made by the Government for the grant of land for building pur- roses on the basis of the scheme explained by The Colonial Secretary at a Meeting of the Legislative Council in June. 1921
The Promoters are in a position to state that they have completed negotiations for the acquisition from the Government of the plateau below "Jardine's Lookout" which is capable of accommodating 150 to 200 semi-detached houses. The Promoters are also in treaty with the Government for aumerous other sites in good localities

The Promoters have already received about 2,000 applications from persons desiring to obtain the assistance of this Company in build. ing homes for the applicants.

The Promoters will also entertain, and, if thought advisable, taka up any other scheme or schemes which may be proposed by the Govern- meat for the acquisition of land for buckling and development
(e) The Company is also empowered by ite Memorandum of As sociation to undertake business of all kinds connected with the develop ment of building areas.
(d). The amimum subscription which the Directors may piram ceed to allotment is 100,000 shares.
() No commission or promotion sooney is being paid by the Company.
The Company will pay the preliminary expenses of and in- cident to the formation and foaung of the Company down to the time when it becomes entitled to commence businest, and the estimated amount thereof is 85,000.
(g) Frederick Ellis will be the first Managing Director under contract with the Company at a remulteration of 3 per cent of the nek profits of the Company.
(h) The Articles of Association provide that the qualification of a Director is to be the holding of W0 shares in the Company and that the remuneration of each of the Directors is to be $1,000 per annum,
(i) None of the Director. or Promoters are interested in the promotion of the Company "xopt to the extent of the shares taken by them in the Company.
(j) Copies of the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company can be inaposted at the offics of Messrs Wilkinson and Grist, Solicitors for the Company, at any time during business hours.
(E) A copy of the Company's Memorandum of Association is annexed to this Prospectus and forms part to it
(L) Application for shares should be made upon the form sccom panying the Prospectus and sent to the Company's. Bankers together with a remittance of $1.00 per share, the amount of the deponi.
Where.no allotment is made the deposit will be returned in fall and where the number of shares allotted is less than the number applied for a proportionate amount of the deposit will be returned.
