Former Emperor Charles of Austria and his family, now held captives by the Hungarian Nationalists following his ill-fated attempt to regain his throne, are to be banished to the Island of Madiera. Portugal has given its consent to the ex-royal family taking up their residence at Funchal, the capital of the island. The ex-ruler and his family will occupy & house built by German financiers as a sanitarium several years ago.
SALVATION ARMY INTERNATIONAL WORKERS FOR INDIA. Fifty members of the Salvation Army from all over the world, who are going cut to India for Salvation Army work, took part is a farewell meeting in Leicester, England, recently and marched through the streets dressed in their costumes.
