LEVELLING A GERMAN FORTRESS.
Photo shows the great Fort Kuestrin after explosion set off to facilitate the work of demolishing the pile. Kuestrin was a fortress of the first class and located in the town of the same name in Prussia. It was levelled following the man- date in the Peace Treaty.
