GOOD SALVAGE RECORD. The Ocean Sal age Company. Ltd., after having salvaged 23 ships, and having brought in the steamship River Clyde from Gallipoli to Malta, have since refloated the very valuable Rus- sian oil tank steamer Loutsch, and taken her into Buyukdere Bay, within 10 miles of Con- stantinople in excellent condition. The steamer War Pike, loaded with munitions, explosives, and military stores for Novorossisk, caught fire, was sunk by gunfire from shore in order to prevent an explosion, and the Ocean Salvage Co.'s steamer La Valette has been detailed by the Admiralty to bring this ship to the surface.
