Paris, May 26. The Austrian Delegation, in a Note to M. Clemenceau, requests a speeding up of the peace negotiations, owing to the undesirable effect of delays upon the internal situation.
The new Reparation Commission appointed to draft the reparation clauses of the Treaties with Austria, Bulgaria and Turkey includes Lord Cunliffe, Lord Sumner and General Smuts.
The Interior Council of Four has begun consideration of the Bulgarian peace terms.
IF GERMANY REFUSES TO SIGN.
ALLIES TO IMMEDIATELY ADVANCE
Pazin, May 26. Arrangements have been completed for instant military and economic action against Germany. In the event of a refusal to sign the Treaty, an advance will be immediately made into the interior rf Germany and the blockade will be resumed in a most drastic form.
Care has been taken to ensure tha. punitive measures against a recalcitrant Germany will become operative forthwith. There will be no interval between, the receipt of the refusal and the Allies' advance.
