The surrender of Turkey and the imminent disappearance of Austris-Hungary have completed the isolation of Germany, reless- ing formidable Allied forces for new fields of action on the frontiers of Baxony, Bararia and elsewhere, facilitating the Allied efforts for the reconstruction of Russia and the restoration of Poland, and, incidentally, giving access to the granaries of Southern Russia. These developments will take time but their menace may persuade Germany to forestal, by capitulation, the inevitable end.
