Brother of Sir William Robertson Drowned.
Captain T. A. Robertson, bro ther of Sir William Robertson, Chief of the Imperial General Stof, was found drowned at Howth, Dear Dublin, recently. Captain Robertson left his house" in Conyngham Road, Deblio. without saying, where he was going, and did not return. He was connected with the Main Supply Depot of the Army Ser- rice Corps, Dablis. The body bad not been long'in the water. Gift to Shakespeare's Birthplace. Fifteen years ago the late Mr. William Walton, of floraley Priory, Nailsworth, lent to the Shakespeare's Birthplace Ma eam, Stratford-upon-Avon, drawing by "that rare Italian meter, Julio Romsgo "➡atudy for a picture which is now in the Palazzo del Te at Mantaa. ME Walton's son, Lieutenant. F. -W, Bernard Walton, R.N., has now presented this drawing to the Birthplace. Lieutenant Barnard Walton is connected on bis mother's side with the family of Barnard, to which belonged the Sir John, Barnard of Abington Manor, Morthende, second hus- band of Shakespeare's grand- daughter, Elizabeth Hall, daugh- ter of Sir John Hall, the famous physician, and Susannah Shakés paare. In answer to Mr. J.
