Canton, June 20. Chan Ping-kwan, the Tak, bau notified the Civil Governor, the Picriccial Assemble, the Headquarters of the D-fensive and Protective Army, and all the civil and military Departments, that civil and military affaire will be temporarily conducted by the Provincial authority alone, and that in view of the necessity for asirguarding the Repablic, this authority must be backed by military force. For this reason the military force must be ander the Takwan's absolute; control."
