At be recent annust meeting of the Women's Legion Lady Londonderry in her presidential address 'said that of the six sections into which the legion was divided two, the military cookery -section and the moter transport seotion, had now been taken over by the War Office, and it was -claimed that the legion was the pioneer in the employment of women by the military authorities. Six canteens had been established by the legion in Woolwich Arsenal, and another io Elawick Works. The headquarters of the legion will in future be at 115, Victoria- #treet, S.W.
