The prisoners were Lam Shing, Young Tang, and Len Kang, and they were indicted for commit- ting robbery with violence on woman named Ng Kai, at Kow. loon City on December 2. They were also charged with receiving stolen property.
Mr. G. H. Wakeman, Crown Solicitor, prosecated. Prisoners who pleaded not guilty, ware un- -defonded.
Shortly after the Court opened, a jury man named Stanley Bid- den, who had not answered to bis name when it was called, entered the Court, and wai called up to the Bench by His Lordship, who seked him why he had not been present when bis name was called.
The Juryman-I forgot all about it."
