There has been a steady demand for both Shipping and Iataerial Sharea since the issue of our last raport, and a considerable business has been transacted for cash and time deliveries, chiefly adjustments for March settlement account, which is now practically complate.
Bar Silver is quoted at 27d per oz. for ready delivery.
Exchange on London opened today at 111 T.T., on Shanghai 72 T.T. and at 734 for 3 dis bille.. -Banka Hongkong and Shanghai Bauke are slightly easier at $785 after sales.
Marine Insurances-Onions are wanted at $422 North Chinas have buyers in the North at Tla, 1824 3975 after sales. Yangiszss can be placed at $250 er 73.
Unions are steady at
Fire Insurance-China Fires are in demand at $162 and Hongkong Fires at the improved rate of $415, Shipping Douglases continued firm throughout the weak and clow with bayers at $133.
