London Dec. 29.-The Back rate remains unchanged at 5 pér cost. The Open market rate for sbart loans is 4 per cent, and discoort of four months' Bank bills 5 to 53 per cent. In the Silver market, there has been s moderais business, and bars have receded to 25 per c. The Rubber Share market has been very firm and prices in most caOCH have father advanced.. The bolidays have interfered with business in the Produce marketa, the nauslepublic sections being suspended. Cofee privately remains quiet, without change in prices. In Sager scarcely any business has trans- pired, but previous prices are maintained. Peppers main very firm, but little business has been done. Bice is quiet, with late rates maintained. Manila Hemp haa ruled firm, and prices show S farther advance. Plantation Rabber is strong and dearer, Standard No. 1 Crepe being now 3s. 94d per lb., and Sucked Sheet 3s. 9d. per lb. Fine Hard P is now 3e. 5d. per lb. Straits Tin is £167 10a, to £168 for cash, and 168 15. to £169 5. for thres months.
