German Submarine Activity.
March 29, 2.5 a.mi. The Admiralty eays the Vosges wae suck by submarine shell fire 80 miles south-west of St. Ann's Head on Saturday.

Dardanelles Operations.

Three German Steamers Sunk.

March 18, 9.15 p.io. Router's correspondent at Athens states that the latest raporta from the Dardanelles are to the effect that the Queen Elizabeth has been bombarding the forts of the Narrows from the Gulf of Saron,
Admirals Confer,
The Admirals of the Allied Fleets had a prolonged conference, after which the captains of the various vessels received special instructions.
Eight Allied warships are expected to join the Dardanelies fleet immediately.
A Liner's Experience."

Stubborn Battle In Progress,

March 28, 9.15 p.m. The steamer Lizzie, to which the crew of the sunken steaner Delmira was transferred, has arrived at Llanelly.
The captain reports that he sighted a submarine directly aboad and went fall speed and ran over it. He saw quantities of oil astern, from which he concludes that the submarine was either seriously damaged or sunk..

It appears certain that the Lizzie sank the 237 off the Islp of Wight.
She sighted the submarine towing three of the Delmira's bonts, when the submarine cat the painter and approached the Lizzie. The latter's captain suddenly ordered the vessel to alter her course and ram the submarine.

German Acroplane Captured.
March 28, 12.50 8.m. The latest Paris communiqus reports that the day passed off quietly, the enemy displaying no activity.
A German aeroplane, which dropped bomba at Manonviller, was brought down, the pilot and observer being captured.
Russian Progress la Carpathians,
An official report from Petrograd states that the situation in Poland is unchanged.
