ARMY TERMS EXPLAINED. Army corps is a complete army on a small scale in itself. The strength varies from 35,000 tof 45,000 men.
Division is a force of Infantry, cavalry, and artillery, usually with strength of from 15,000 to 20,000 men.
Brigade is a force of infantry or cavalry. The infantry brigade is from 4,000 to 7,000 strong.) The cavalry brigado is from 1,000 to 2,000 strong.
Regiment of infantry is from
2,000 to 4,000 strong.
